She will not sugar coat or beat around the bush with you, to get to your truth. Christy is exceptionally gifted at getting to the good, the bad, and the ugly, in a way that is gentle but firm, compassionate yet driven. She may be the only person in your life who is bold enough to be honest and tell you things you may not want to hear. Christy won’t let you hide behind your grandiosity or your insecurity. She won’t let you avoid your fears. She won’t let you stay stuck in your victim mentality. Christy knows you are capable of greater relationships, of higher self-confidence and self-esteem, of getting off the couch and doing something with your life, or letting go of your past. She gives you the choice, you decide if you want to do the work.
Coaching Combined with Years as a Psychotherapist
As a psychotherapist in private practice for 18 years, Christy discovered early on in my practice that many people she works with have no real “mental illness,” yet, they feel stuck in old patterns, have negative core beliefs about themselves, and feel unfulfilled and challenged in their relationships; and especially the relationship they have with themselves. They are self-critical. They are less tolerant of themselves than of others. Some are less tolerant of others, than they are on themselves which results in relationship difficulties.
They lack confidence in certain areas of their life; or they may feel grandiose in other areas of their life. There is nothing wrong with any of the people I work with. Sure, some may have anxiety or depression; but I believe we all have fears (anxieties) and feel down or sad at times. She teaches people how to handle those times. She teaches people how to increase their emotional intelligence so they can manage their emotions and become the complete being they are meant to be. She teaches people how to change their negative core beliefs and truly see how they are valuable, worthy, and good enough.
